Set high on a hillside, the approach from Gökçebel village is via a rough track, but with no passing traffic the location is tranquil and extremely private. The private villa benefits from a lovely cooling breeze and is very spacious and light. The modern architecture and contemporary design is enhanced by the exquisite mix of antique and modern furniture and brilliantly coloured Turkish kilims. Picture windows and French doors lead from the open plan ground floor living areas to the surrounding pool and dining terraces. The covered dining terrace is ideal for family eating with a large dining table and a comfortable seating area that will undoubtedly be a favourite spot for early evening drinks. If part of your holiday enjoyment is buying local foods and preparing them you will appreciate the extremely well equipped and very sociable kitchen area.

 

 

The superb swimming pool is surrounded by sunbathing terraces which are fenced making it ideal for children and it is equipped with comfortable sun beds and a large sun shade. But, in our opinion it's the stunning panoramic view framed on either side by the mountains that makes this property special.

 

Emrah and Emine are the housekeeping couple at Cheedem, alongside cleaning duties Emine is happy to prepare food and even do your personal laundry. Emrah looks after the pool and the grounds. Emine's routine will be tailored to your requirements.

FIRST FLOOR:

Double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower/wc and great views, twin bedroom with mountain view and double bedroom with sea view and terrace. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Bathroom with bath/shower/wc.

Washing machine, hob/oven, dishwasher, two fridge/ freezers, telephone, satellite TV, CD, wi-fi internet access. Hairdryer. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Portable barbecue. AIR CONDITIONING is available at an extra charge which is payable locally

BEACHES:

Nearest beaches - The beaches and coves around Yalikavak and Gundoğan are within a 15 minute drive from the property. The larger sandy beaches on the south side of the Peninsula are all within a 30 minute drive. Gümüşlük with lagoon like swimming and great snorkelling is a 30 minute drive.

 

SHOPS & RESTAURANTS:

There is a small village shop in the centre of Gökçebel village (5 minute drive down the track) stocked with everyday items including fresh bread, fresh eggs and ice creams; once weekly there is a fruit and vegetable market. The nearest large supermarkets are on the main road to Yalikavak (8 minutes drive) and Yalikavak town also has a weekly fruit and vegetable market. There are many restaurants in Yalikavak town centre. (8 minutes drive).

 

NOTES:

The housekeeper and her daughter live in their own cottage within the grounds.

PRICE

Prices are per week for accommodation rental only and include gas, water, linen, towels and general electricity but not air conditioning. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge which is payable locally. In early and late season if the central heating is used there is a heating supplement payable locally.  A reduced rate for smaller parties is available in low/middle season - please contact us for a quotation.
