Off-Road Bodrum I: Jeep-Safari & Blue Cruise with Mountain bikes

The route of this program is mostly OFF-ROAD which are rarely traveled and includes the most spectacular views and countryside of the Bodrum region. The level of difficulty of each tour can be adapted to the group. According to the group's preferences and the weather, the daily program can be slightly changed.

 

 

 

I. Jeep-Safari & Blue Cruise with bicycles Programm

 

Day 1.

Arrival in Bodrum Airport, Transfer to the guest house/pension/hotel.

Day 2.

Pick-up after breakfast and drive to "Sleep Valley" in Milas with jeeps. After hiking in this region overnight in tents.

Day 3.

After breakfast departure to Bafa Lake which used to be a gulf of the Aegean Sea until the Classical period, when the sea passage was gradually closed by the alluvial mass brought by Büyük Menderes River. The gulf, and later the lake, was named Latmus in antiquity. Hiking around the lake, as well as to the ruins of Heraclea by Latmus overnight in guest house or tents.

Day 4.

Further hiking in this region (the mountain chain of Besparmak) and lunch, we drive to Bodrum via Mazı and Ciftlikköy, where we will wonder from the highest peak of the Peninsula the magnificent panorama, opportunity to swim in one of the gorgeous bays. Embarkation the yacht in Bodrum harbor. Overnight in the harbor or one of the bays near to Bodrum, depending to the guest's choices.

Day 5.

Early departure and arrival after app. 4,5 hours in Akbük, a turquoise bay like in a picture-book. We bike through little, romantic fishing villages via ancient site Ceramos 'till to Cökertme, where our yacht will wait for us. Dinner and overnight on board. (biking: app. 40 km)

Day 6.    

Our yacht brings us to the region Kisebükü and Ciftlik. Today's leg leads us through pinewood forests and small villages apart of the coast line. Dinner and overnight on board in Gerenkuyu. (biking: app. 30 km - mountain stage)

Day 7.

After breakfast and swimming we will bike partly on asphalt streets, partly on side ways from Gerenkuyu to Bitez, a small harbor-village with romantic flair. Our yacht will wait there for us. Last dinner and overnight on board in Bodrum (biking: app. 50 km)

Day 8.

Disembarkation after breakfast in Bodrum harbor and transfer to the airport.

About the accommodation:

Yacht: 3 overnights in double-bed cabins with shower&WC; full board incl. water, tea and coffee. Other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be paid to the crew on day of disembarkation.

Land: One overnight in guest houses/pension near Milas; 3 overnights in tents and/or guest houses in Sleep Valley and on Bafa Lake. Full board, drinks are not included.

Included services:

 

• Tour guide during whole trip in German or English language.
• All transfers from/to airport with air-conditioned vehicle.
• Full board accommodation
• 3x7 gear mountain bikes. One or two spare bikes and an adequate supply of spare parts are always taken along on the tours.
• 4x4 jeeps with driver/guide.
• Tents
