Last but not least, Nightlife aficionados will enjoy the two nights we will spend in Bodrum!

Day 1: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey 

Individual arrivals in Bodrum. The city is especially well known for its mausoleum, a tomb which the Persian king Mausolos had made during his lifetime. The giant construct counts as one of the seven world wonders of classical antiquity and many similar constructs were named after it. Bodrum is also a secret hotspot for trendsetters.

Day 2: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey 

On this day we will take a boat to the greek island Kos and will then explore this delightful part of the world on a bike ride. The main sight seeing spots in Kos are a well preserved source, the burinna, the asclepieion of Kos, Neratzia, the plantation of Hippokrates, and a thermal spring in the open sea. Overnight stay in Bodrum.

Day 3: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey - Priene

In the morning we will visit one of the most important antique site of the area: Priene. The classic Hellenistic city is described as the "Greek Pompeji". Since it was almost entirely uncovered by archaeologists, you can see , among other things, a typical theater, the temple of Athena, ancient ruins, an agora, a stadium and the building that housed the people's chamber. Finally, we will drive to Sirince, a romantic town surrounded by hills.

Day 4: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey - Ephesos

In order to avoid huge groups of tourists, we will start early this morning and drive to the "Virgin Mary" house. Afterwards, we will visit Ephesos. Ephesos was one of the most important ancient Greek cities and houses one of the seven World Wonders: the Temple of Artemis. In ancient Greece, the city laid right by the ocean. Because of climatic and seismic changes, the coast line moved west. After exploring the city, we will leave for the island of Kalem. There we will spend the afternoon by the water and end the day with a glass of wine at the beach.

Day 5: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey - Pergamon

Today is dedicated to visiting Pergamon: we will visit the library and the theater, we will find out on which foundation the altar to Zeus stood (which is currently being exhibited in Berlin) and enjoy the one-of-a-kind view. In the afternoon we will drive to Ayvalik/Cunda and spend the rest of the day in a hotel with direct access to the beach.

Day 6: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey - Island Kalem

Today we will spend a delightful morning and the beach on the island of Kalem. Afterwards we will visit the Olive Museum and find out details about the many ways of processing olives. Afterwards we will go on a half-day trekking tour in the region of Adatepe and explore the surrounding nature. Adatepe is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge your batteries. Optional: a visit to Assos.

Day 7: Aegean Coast - Pearl of Turkey - Troja

On this last day of our trip we will wake up early, explore a waterfall and make our way to Istanbul. We will stop in Troy. Troy belongs to the cultural memorials of UNESCO. The legend of the Trojan horse, as well as the fact that historians still argue over where the Trojan War actually took place, make Troy a fascinating place to visit. Once there, we will be guided across the site by someone involved in the excavations. After this last step in our trip we will be taked to the airport in Istanbul. Alternatively we can assist you if you'd like to spontaneously extend your trip.
